Industrial Radiators

Industrial radiator solutions for every process

HEATMEK endüstriyel radyatör

What Is an Industrial Radiator?

An industrial radiator is a heat exchanger made of finned tubes that transfers heat between air and a fluid such as steam, hot water, thermal oil or refrigerant. At Heatmek, we design and manufacture industrial radiators to each project’s requirements, considering capacity, fluid type, operating temperature and pressure.

In heating applications, they heat process air, drying chambers and ovens. In cooling applications, they safely control temperatures in engines, compressors, hydraulic systems and oil circuits. At the heart of all our radiators are finned tubes manufactured at our own facility.

Our Industrial Radiator Types

Engine and Generator Radiators
High-capacity radiators for jacket water and intercooler cooling in diesel engines and generator sets.
Steam Radiators
Use the latent heat of steam to heat process air and drying chambers quickly and evenly.
Dryer Radiators
Designed to produce hot air for textile, food, timber and paper drying lines.
Hot Water Radiators
Used in hot water heating systems, air handling units and process air applications.
Thermal Oil Radiators
Provide a leak-tight, durable structure for high-temperature air heating in thermal oil systems.
Condenser Radiators
Finned condensers that condense refrigerant using air in cooling cycles.
Coil Radiators
Coil-type radiators mounted in ducts or equipment and operating with steam, water, oil or refrigerant.
Finned Tube Radiators
Compact radiators with finned tube bundles that provide a much greater heat transfer surface within the same volume.
Seawater Radiators
Manufactured for ships and coastal facilities using materials resistant to the corrosive effects of salt water.
Autoclave Coolers
Provide controlled, rapid cooling in autoclave and pressure vessel processes.
Compressor Coolers
Used for discharge air and oil cooling in air and gas compressors.
Oil Cooling Radiators
Maintain hydraulic system, transmission and engine oils at their ideal operating temperature.

Industrial Radiator Applications

  • Textile, paper, food and timber drying facilities
  • Power plants, generators and cogeneration systems
  • Chemical, petrochemical and paint facilities
  • Automotive, metal and plastics production lines
  • Marine applications
  • Air handling units and industrial ventilation systems

Material and Design Options

Depending on operating conditions, we use carbon steel, stainless steel or copper tubes with aluminium, copper, steel or stainless steel fins. Fin type, fin pitch, number of rows and header construction are determined through thermal calculations. Hot-dip galvanizing and special coatings can be applied for corrosive environments.

Why Choose Heatmek Industrial Radiators?

  • Project-specific thermal and mechanical calculations
  • All processes under one roof, from finned tube production to assembly
  • Pressure and leak testing before shipment
  • Direct replacement manufacturing for existing radiators

Yes. We can review the dimensions and technical specifications of your existing radiator and manufacture a direct replacement that fits your system.
Industrial radiators are high-capacity heat exchangers used to heat or cool air in factories, power plants and large facilities. Unlike domestic radiators, they are manufactured from heavy-duty materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel and copper alloys to withstand temperatures up to 400°C and operating pressures above 40 bar.
Steam radiator tubes are generally arranged in a staggered pattern. This increases turbulence as air passes between the tubes, improving heat transfer. Designing for effective condensate drainage also prevents water hammer and efficiency losses as steam condenses into liquid.
Metal tubes expand as they heat up, particularly in thermal oil and high-temperature water radiators. A floating header design fixes one side while allowing the other side to move independently of the radiator casing. This accommodates tube expansion and prevents weld cracking and tube failure caused by thermal stress.
Copper has the highest thermal conductivity of any metal after silver. Copper tubes combined with copper fins transfer heat to air rapidly. This allows more compact radiator designs and provides high efficiency in precision air conditioning systems where the speed of energy transfer is critical.
Stainless steel, particularly grades 304 and 316, offers exceptional resistance to corrosion and acidic environments. Its hygienic properties and resistance to washing make it suitable for food factories, while its resistance to corrosive gases is valuable in chemical plants. Heatmek stainless steel radiators are designed for long-term performance under these demanding conditions.
